Initially, this project was created to participate in a competition with a theme of “interesting sharing”, inspired by the games like lego, jigsaw puzzles and building blocks. However, with the deeper research I did, I found it was also a good chance to explore the future possibility of clothing consumption.

 

On the one hand, when clothing is sold in components instead of ready-to-wear clothes, consumers would have more autonomy to design their dressing style, and fashion would be a more engaging public game. On the other hand, I think it is also a new way to make fashion gets sustainable development.

 

When people keep purchasing new items even though they have had a similar one, they are often drove by the impulsion to chase up the new fashion trend. If the clothes can be taken apart and replaced with the new popular elements to be a new design, the lifetime of the clothes can be extended, the unnecessary waste on clothing, like raw material, and environmental pollution mainly cause by fast fashion can be reduced.
